Iris printers spray microscopic drops of color on to a fine art paper or canvas, displaying the full color of spectrum, these artworks have vibrant colors and a velvety texture. Q. What is Canvas? A: A heavy woven fabric usually of cotton or linen, used as a support for a painting. Q. What is Canvas Transfer? A process which lifts the image on a print off the paper support so that it can be transferred to a canvas mount. Q: What is Limited Editions? A: The issue of something collectible, such as prints, limited to a certain quantity of numbered copies. The first number indicates the number of the piece; the second number indicates the total quanitity of the edition, e.g. 135/250. Q: What is Open Edition? A: An edition having an unlimited number of prints in it. |
